Die aus Indiana stammenden Heavy Metaller WOLFTOOTH liefern neue Stoner-artige Single „Ahab“ vom kommenden Album „Blood & Iron“, welches via Napalm Records erscheinen wird.
Richmond, Indiana’s WOLFTOOTH stehen kurz davor, ihr kolossales neues Napalm Records Debüt Blood & Iron diesen Freitag, den 3. Dezember 2021, zu veröffentlichen! Das Album bietet ein gewaltiges Stück proto-metal-beeinflusster Heaviness mit einer tiefen Dosis Doom-Essenz und süchtig machenden Stoner-Riffs und ist eine Fundgrube für lyrische Fantasy-Einflüsse, die mystische und oft verräterische Themen der Mythologie, Überlieferung und Legende erforschen, mit einem Fokus auf Zauberei, Kampf und Nonstop-Abenteuer.
Nach den bereits veröffentlichten Singles „The Voyage“ und „Broken Sword“ haben WOLFTOOTH nun eine weitere düstere Single veröffentlicht, dieses Mal in Form des hymnischen Stoner-Metal-lastigen Brenners „Ahab“. Begleitet von einem natürlich nautischen Textvideo, beeindruckt der Track von Anfang bis Ende mit einer fast psychedelischen Verflechtung von eindringlichen Gitarrenmelodien, glorreichen Vocals und gewundenen Riffs.

“’Ahab‘ is a song about revenge and the consequences of achieving it. A classic story of a man’s obsession that leads to his own demise. Sonically, the song stays true to our roots. It’s a Sabbathian tribute to the music we grew up on.“
