Im Oktober 2021 veröffentlichten Asking Alexandria ihr neues Album See „What’s On The Inside“ via Better Noise Music und läuteten damit eine neue Ära für die Band ein. Ganz in diesem Sinne folgt heute ihre neue EP Never Gonna Learn, die nach der zweiten Single des Albums benannt ist.
Zusätzlich zum Titeltrack enthält das Projekt eine neue Zusammenarbeit mit Maria Brink von In This Moment und weitere neue Musik, die die Energie und den Schaffensdrang der Band widerspiegelt. Die vollständige Trackliste zur EP gibt es weiter unten.
Ende 2021 feierte die Band, mit der Hitsingle „Alone Again“ aus dem aktuellen siebten Studioalbum See What’s On The Inside, ihre bis dato erste Nummer #1 im U.S. Active Rock Radio. Der Song stellte zudem den Rekord für die meisten Streams am ersten Tag und innerhalb der ersten Woche für die Band auf. See What’s On The Inside ist ein Projekt, das die Leidenschaft einer Band widerspiegelt, die sich wieder in das Musikmachen und das Zusammensein als Gruppe verliebt hat, während sie zum ersten Mal seit einem Jahrzehnt wieder alle gemeinsam im Studio waren, um ihr neues Werk aufzunehmen. Bei seiner Veröffentlichung landete das Album sowohl in den USA als auch in Großbritannien in den Top 10 Alben auf Spotify.

In diesem Jahr freuen sich Asking Alexandria darauf, ihre Fans endlich auf Tour wiederzusehen und weitere neue Musik zu veröffentlichen. Ben Bruce erklärt: “2021 was another strange year for everyone, so we wanted to do something special for our fans and kick the new year off with a bang! We are super excited to release the Never Gonna Learn EP. Instead of just releasing our new single we wanted to give you all something a little extra so we have included two brand new songs on this single EP, one of which we hold near and dear to our hearts, and another that we collaborated with our good friend Maria Brink of In This Moment. To top it all off, we will be going out on our first US headline run since 2018! We cannot wait to see you all soon and we hope you love these new songs as much as we do!”
