Die finnische Melodic-Death-Metal-Truppe BEFORE THE DAWN veröffentlicht am 8. März 2024 eine neue digitale EP mit dem Titel „Archaic Flame“, über Napalm Records!
BEFORE THE DAWN sind dazu bestimmt, ihre Position in der Metal-Szene mit ihrer brandneuen EP Archaic Flame weiter zu etablieren. Das neue Werk, das am 8. März 2024 über Napalm Records veröffentlicht wird, bietet eine feurige Mischung aus klanglicher Intensität und melodischem Können, wie man sie von BEFORE THE DAWN noch nie gehört hat. Nach einem Jahrzehnt der Stille haben die finnischen Metal-Juggernauten mit ihrem Comeback-Album Stormbringers, der anschließenden Rückeroberung der europäischen Bühnen und der erfolgreichen Dominanz bei der 70.000 Tons of Metal-Kreuzfahrt im letzten Monat alle Erwartungen übertroffen.
Zusammen mit der Ankündigung der neuen EP hat die Band heute auch ihr offizielles Musikvideo zum Titeltrack enthüllt. Galoppierende Gitarrenrhythmen verflechten sich mit dem intensiven Clean-Gesang von Paavo Laapotti und zeigen das klangliche Inferno von BEFORE THE DAWNs Meisterschaft im melodischen Death Metal.

“Already before the massive 34-gig Fin/Euro tour, we started to have new ideas piling up. Once we got back home, we did not want to wait until we could start working on the next album and decided to record an EP to keep the band in motion after the most successful year in its history. ‘Archaic Flame’ is the title track of the EP and is a musical embodiment of the spark inside the band that grew into a firestorm.“
