Ursprünglich von den schwedischen Melodic-Death-Metal-Pionieren In Flames geschrieben und auf ihrem 1996er Album „The Jester Race“ veröffentlicht, wurde der Track „Artifacts Of The Black Rain“ nun von DESERTED FEAR gecovert und als B-Seite auf der exklusiven, auf 500 Exemplare limitierten 7inch der Band veröffentlicht, die von DESERTED FEAR’s eigenem Fabian Hildebrandt im Eisensound Studio aufgenommen, gemischt und gemastert wurde.

„For the B-Side of the EP we wanted to cover a song from another band, something we did live all the time in our early days because we didn’t have enough own songs to play a full set, haha. And in the studio we also didn’t cover a song in a long time!“
