Tolminator 2025 - Weitere Bandwelle veröffentlicht

Das Tolminator Metal Fest mit u.a. eine neue Welle an Bands für das Tolminator Festival 2025 an! Neu dabei sind u.a. ME AND THAT MAN, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY, MIDNIGHT, PSYCROPTIC, HIGH PARASITE & MIMI BARKS. Dazu sind nächsten Jahr u.a. MINISTRY, KATAKLYSM, ROTTING CHRIST,  RIVERS OF NIHIL, ORANSSI PAZUZU, WOLFBRIGADE, D.R.I., WARBRINGER, ANGELUS APATRIDA, oder  AHAB bereits zahlreiche weitere Hochkaräter an Bord.

Tolmin, Slowenien, ist bekannt für atemberaubende Berglandschaften, den atemberaubenden Soča River, seine baumgesäumten Campingplätze, mediterranes Wetter und darüber hinaus auch für seine großartigen Heavy-Events mitsamt endlosem Haarpracht-Schwingen zu ausgesuchtem Metal im (Abend-)Sonnenschein…

Genau hier hat das TOLMINATOR FESTIVAL vor zwei Jahren erstmals angesetzt, um die gute Tradition hochwertig bestückter Metal-Festivals in echter Urlaubs-Atmosphäre in Tolmin auf ein neues, familiäres Level zu hieven. Von Liebhabern für Liebhaber!

Nicht zurückblickend, nicht von Nostalgie getrieben, sondern nach vorne gewandt, ist ein neues Festival mit eigener Note und tiefschwarzer, kompromissloser musikalischer Seele geschaffen worden, das die Bedürfnisse der Besucher, Metal-Fans aus zahlreichen Winkeln der Welt, immer fest im Blick behält. Begrenzt auf nur 5000 Besucher, hat die TOLMINATOR-Crew Anlauf genommen und die positiven Elemente von Musik und unberührter Natur mit dem nötigen Fingerspitzengefühl verbinden können.

Tief aus dem kalten Montreal, Québec, Kanada, kommen KATAKLYSM nach Tolmin und werden einmal mehr beweisen dass ihnen der Ruf, einer der brutalsten und kraftvollsten Heavy Metal Bands unserer Zeit zu sein, gerecht wird. Trivia: Kataklysm is known for a frequently used drum pattern known as „Northern Hyperblast“, after an advertisement in M.E.A.T. magazine describing another band, Fear Factory, as „hyperblast“. The term refers to the extremely fast blast beats that former Kataklysm drummer, Max Duhamel, fuses into the music; The pattern often contains fast sixteenth beats on the snare drum, which are combined with a slow beat on the bass drum.

Trivia: According to Jim Mutilator in the book ‚Non Serviam‘, he created the band in 1984 under the name Black Church along with some of his classmates. Later on, Sakis Tolis and Themis Tolis joined Black Church and they changed the name to Rotting Christ in 1987.In 2016, due to legal issues regarding religious groups in South Africa boycotting the band, they will be performing under the name Χ Ξ Σ there.
